	Main Title:  In the background is a high-tech instrument panel.  A pair of lips
sweeps in from both the right and left sides of the screen, and a thin metallic line drops
in front of the each pair of lips from above.  Each line twirls into the golden
silhouettes of Kei, on the right, and Yuri, on the left, sitting on their legs and leaning
back with one hand, while the other hand is reaching upward to hold onto a metallic vine. 
The background fades to black, and the two pairs of lips merge back together between the
two silhouettes.  The golden silhouettes dissolve into the familiar purple triangular drop
earrings.  The earrings zoom back to take their proper place beside the mouth.
	Gunshots ring out as the earrings become targets.  As the right earring is
shattered, Kei's face appears as if illuminated by the shot.  Yuri's face appears as the
left earring meets the same fate as the first.  The lips then swoop down to the lower
right corner in a "Z" and then zoom up to wipe the screen.
	A pair of legs in red spike heels covered by a Chinese long dress slit up to the
hips is seen.  The scene appears to be a still which is slowly brought up to normal
speed. 
	NOTE:  In the background, the first few notes of the James Bond theme help
complete the tribute to James Bond (the scene wipe with the lips is comparable to the
gun-barrel openings of the James Bond movies. -Ray & Masaki
	The scene shifts to a busy street in a resort city.  Many neon signs advertise
such things as Konica cameras.  In an image distorted by heat waves and strong back
lighting, a figure walks toward the screen.  An elevator lets out its passengers, and you
see that the pair of legs belongs to a stunningly beautiful blond in dark sunglasses.  The
Chinese long dress is printed with a purple dragon and possesses a slightly greenish
tinge.  One of her hands is on her hips, while the other hand holds a red purse.  The
mysterious woman then enters the rail car and ascends.
	Cut to a ski slope and a snow bunny.  In the background is a large pylon on which
a gondola is seen rising up.  The inside of the gondola is actually a large courtyard-like
area complete with tables, staircases to a balcony, and potted plants.  The mysterious
woman leisurely takes a seat while stars fill up the view from the windows.  The pylon is
actually a shaft that lead up to a resort ring that surrounds the planet.

                                        NARRATION

              In the year 2141, mankind is expanding throughout nearly the
              entire Milky Way galaxy and forming a federation from over
              3000 independent states established on mandated planets...

	NOTE:  What is printed on the screen is different from what is being said in
Japanese.  The translations are from what is spoken. -Ray & Masaki
	A girl jumps off a diving board into crystal clear water.  The water is so clear
that the stars can be seen through it.  As the first girl swims, a second girl approaches,
holding on to an underwater motor.  As the gondola continues to climb upwards, the
appearance of a majestic ring pool is seen.  Meanwhile, a rescue ship arrives.

                                        NARRATION

              ...And to maintain these interstellar civilizations,
              spaceships are equipped with warp engines, engine cores and
              the like.  To permit these new technologies, the necessary
              and indispensable primary raw material needed is a rare metal
              called Vizorium...

	The rescue ship revs up its control engines and approaches the resort ring. 
Inside rescue ship-> Rescue Ship 21, a duraluminum case holds three bars of some sort of
gleaming metal.

                                          BOSS

              [off the screen] 18 Kilograms of 99.8% pure Vizorium. 
              [closing the lid]  Roughly, it's worth about 80 million
              credits.  Vizorium's definitely the best contraband to
              smuggle.  When we close this deal, we can get any wine or
              woman we want!

	In the ship's deep narrow interior, there is a young man.

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [off the screen]  As for me, wine and women can be problems.

                                          BOSS

              Problems...?

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [approaching the boss]  Yeah...If you don't watch out, both
              can give you headaches.

                                          BOSS

              [his smile reflecting off the duraluminum case]  Heh, heh,
              heh, heh...

	Rescue 21 makes a sweeping arc towards the rising gondola.  After firing its
positional control jets, the ship synchronizes its motion with the gondola.  By the means
of a computer tracking system, Rescue 21 docks with the gondola as ithe gondola ascends.
	Inside the gondola, the boss, the young man, and their subordinates stand in front
of the woman in the Chinese dress.

                                          BOSS

              [off the screen]  I hope you've got the 80 million credits?

                                          WOMAN

              Your share of the deal is 16 million credits. [reaches for
              her purse and places the other hand behind her back]

                                          BOSS

              What!?

                                          WOMAN

              Trying to find channels to sell Vizorium is more dangerous
              than stealing it.  Hurry up and show me the goods. 

	Stepping forward, the boss lays the case on the table and opens it to show her the
Vizorium bars.

                                          BOSS

              The goods are right here...there's no mistake.  Make it at
              least 20 million credits!

                                          WOMAN

              [looking up at the boss]  18 million credits.

                                          BOSS

              18 million!? [looking at the young man]  What do you think? 
              [The young man shrugs his shoulders]  All right, it can't be
              helped.  You've got a deal.

                                          WOMAN

              [presenting the bag]  Okay.  Don't spend it all at once. 
              [smiles]

	The boss snatches the bag and opens it, which sets off a flash grenade.  The
grenade blinds everyone except the blond woman.

                                          BOSS

              [surprised by the fierce light]  Aaargh---!

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [surprised by the fierce light]  Yaaa---!

                                        HENCHMEN

              [surprised by the fierce light]  Waaa---!

	Reflecting off the woman's sunglasses, the light falls to floor and quickly fades
away.  As the light fades, she jumps high into the air and does a back-flip.  In the
middle of the back-flip, her wig falls off.  When the woman lands, we see that the woman
is actually Kei in disguise.  Kei lands with her gun drawn and trained on the smugglers.

                                      WOMAN -> KEI

              Freeze!  This is the WWWA! [The boss rubs his eyes, and the
              young man and the henchmen look up at Kei from the floor] 
              You're under arrest on the charges of stealing and illegally
              trading in Vizorium.  So be good little boys and don't move. 
              [taking off her glasses and talking into them]  Yuri, can you
              hear me?  I've taken care of everything.  [No response from
              Yuri]  Yuri!?

	The Lovely Angel flies by in space.  Within, Yuri dons her helmet and reaches up
to pull the release lever for her Pettan, an attack craft, to launch.  A hangar-bay door
opens and out comes the little Pettan.  It's main engines fire, launching it away from the
Lovely Angel.  On the side of the Pettan, a caricature of Yuri can be seen.
	Meanwhile, inside the gondola, Kei is concerned.

                                           KEI

              [talking into the sunglasses]  Yuri, I said I've taken care
              of everything so you don't have to come down.  Can you hear
              me?

	The henchmen attack.

                                           KEI

              Hey---!

	Kei does some acrobatic jumps backwards, kicks over a table for cover, and fires
back.
	Among the criss-crossing laser beams, the boss grabs the duraluminum case with the
Vizorium while the young man runs for the staircase.  Kei fires and hits two of the
henchmen.

                                       HENCHMAN A

              [flying backwards]  Yaaa---!

                                       HENCHMAN B

              [spinning as he falls]  Gyaaa---!

	The young man dashes up the stairs, pauses, turns around, flashes a "V" at Kei,
and leaves into the airlock of Rescue 21.  Kei is startled to see him escape.

                                           KEI

              Huh?!

	Kei is distracted by three shots that go into the table near her head.  She ducks
back behind the table.  Outside the gondola, the escape pod of Rescue 21 separates.

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [climbing down a ladder]  Please forgive my...impoliteness.

	The young man pushes some buttons and pulls the thrust lever to fire the escape
pod's engines leaving Rescue 21 and the gondola behind.

                                          BOSS

              [seeing the young man leave]  That...that bastard!  [goes
              toward the stairs]

	As the boss leaves, Kei takes out the other two henchmen with two well-placed
kicks.

                                       HENCHMAN C

              [reeling from Kei's kick]  Uyaaa---!

                                       HENCHMAN D

              [flying back by Kei's kick]  Gyaa---!

	As Kei looks up, Yuri's Pettan fires its retros and settles onto the outside of
the gondola next to Rescue 21.  Once attached, the Pettan melts a hole for its own hatch.

                                          BOSS

              [surprised]  U- u- u- u- u-uhhhh!

	An explosion removes the protective covering of the hatch.  The hatch dilates to
give Yuri a spectacular entrance in a canary yellow armored pressure suit.  Yuri presses
the quick release on her belt, and little explosive charges detach the heavier elements of
the suit.  Yuri's helmet falls to the floor with the other sections of the suit.  As the
camera pans up, Yuri is seen pointing her petite little gun at the boss.

                                          YURI

              [with a smile and a wink]  Better late than never!

                                          BOSS

              [looking at both Yuri and Kei]  Grrr---!

	The boss activates a switch on the case, and the word "Danger" begin to flash.

                                          YURI

              Huh?

                                          BOSS

              [while getting up]  Ha ha ha ha!  [throws the case at Yuri
              who dodges it]  Catch!

	The case hits the wall and comes to a stop.  The boss runs down the airlock into
Rescue 21.  Yuri and Kei follow and hesitate just in case of incoming fire.  As the
airlock door begins to close, Yuri and Kei dive into Rescue 21 where they confront the
boss.  The boss begins to back away from Yuri and Kei.

                                          BOSS

              [frightened]  Aaahh!

	Yuri jumps up with her fist wound up for a punch.

                                          BOSS

              [falling down against the control panel]  Agggh!

	A dent appears on the left side of the boss's face.
	In the gondola, the digit "3" lights up in a display on the duraluminum case.
	Inside Rescue 21, Kei delivers a flying kick.

                                          BOSS

              [landing upside down against the wall]  Waaagh!

	The number "2" lights up on the duraluminum case.
	Inside Rescue 21, Yuri and Kei give each other a high-five and prepare to deliver
the final blow.  The boss tries to stand up with his last remaining strength.  Ready, Yuri
and Kei jump simultaneously with forward somersaults and kick...The boss flies back and
lands flat on his back with foam coming out of his mouth.  Yuri and Kei look at each other
and giggle. 
	The number "1" lights up on the case in the gondola.
	BOOM!!! 
	Inside Rescue 21, Yuri and Kei are buffeted by the explosion.

                                           KEI

              [lifted up by the shock]  Waah!

                                          YURI

              [rocked by the shock]  Uhhh!

	The gondola, which continues to ascend, explodes, and Rescue 21 is blown free. 
Then, there is a bigger explosion.  Rescue 21 rapidly drifts away from the resort ring as
the elevator shaft explodes.  A great number of escape crafts are shown trying to escape
from the disaster.  In the end, the entire ring is warped by all the explosions that occur
around the ring and down all the other elevator shafts.  Yuri and Kei, in Rescue 21, drift
along in shock, lokking out from the main view-port on Rescue 21.

                                           KEI

              Oh dear!

                                          YURI

              Oh dear!

                                           KEI

              Oh dear!

	Rescue 21 drifts off into space as a large fragment passes by.

                                       YURI & KEI

              [looking at each other]  Oh dear---!

	The large fragment disappears as the entire ring collapses.
	
	Opening Credits:  From left and right, Yuri and Kei appear in an action-pose
freeze frame.  The credits begin with the theme song "Safari Eyes" and are very abstract
and high-tech in style.  The opening chronicles a myriad of women throughout history that
have been done dangerous field work.
	NOTE:  The style is reminiscent of the James Bond opening credits. -Ray & Masaki

	In the night, the moon appears behind ominous clouds above some sort of production
plant.  As an air car rapidly drives toward the plant, the silhouette of three monsters
appears on the cliff above.
	The plant is under tight security watch.  Inside the plant, Vizorium ores are
being transported on a conveyor belt.  Further down the production line, the ore is
smelted down and poured.  Sparks fly about.  The finished product, Vizorium, is poured
down a trough, refined, and molded into bars.  Sitting in front of a monitor, a technician
supervises the progress of the refining process.  Behind him, a monster's hand reaches
toward the technician unnoticed and forces the tech's head into the monitor.

                                       TECHNICIAN

              Uggh---!

	The monitor promptly explodes, followed by explosions from all over the plant in a
giant chain reaction.  Everyone in the plant is in a panic as the monsters spring up from
below ripping holes in the metal floors.  Elsewhere in the same plant, the Production
Committee Chairman and the plant's vice manager turn around in terror.

                                        CHAIRMAN

              Huh?

                                      VICE MANAGER

              Wha-?

	Extra security guards scamper down the hallways with rifles at the ready. 
Surrounded by flames, they run up some steps and receive a big surprise.  A monster,
carrying bars of Vizorium, turns to greet them.  The guards take aim and fire, but one of
the monsters dodges the guard's fire by jumping high into the air toward the guards.  The
scene freezes as the monster turns into a computer model.

	A computerized model of the monster is displayed on a screen along with some
digital information.  On one of the side panels.  The words "SADINGA" and "TYPE E" are
seen.  As the scientist's hands, with fiber-optic cables plugged into them, flutter across
the keyboard, the screen display changes into various patterns.

                                        SCIENTIST

              [off the screen]  Why?  How come it does not work.  Where is
              the bug in the mutation program?  [The monster model
              explodes, and the scientist's fists pound the keyboard]  The
              gmost distinctive features should occur from a sudden
              mutation at the locus of the original trait causing the rise
              of entirely new trait.  Why has the original trait resurfaced
              after the completion of the mutation program?  Is such a
              reverse mutation possible...?  [removing a fiber-optic plug
              from the back of his hand]  The 12034 hours and 49 minutes I
              have spent creating the hardware will be wasted if the
              necessary biosoftware is in such a horrible condition.  This
              is turning into a big joke.

	The room is the computer room of the scientist.  A butler pushes in a cart which
contains a chilled bottle of wine with a glass.

                                         BUTLER

              Professor, the stress is ruining your health.  [showing the
              bottle of wine]  I've brought Shoterunu's Chateau
              Fuirurumanse.  It's the masterpiece of the year 2138's
              vintage.

                                 SCIENTIST -> PROFESSOR

              [slowly removing the other optic jack]  If I can discover
              when the reverse mutation occurs, there will be no need to
              start the simulation from the beginning...I should be able to
              find the root cause within the maximum predicted number by
              adding the number of factors to the sudden mutation rate
              squared.  Hmm.  Hmmm.  [walks off mumbling]

	Behind the Professor, the butler is preparing the wine.

                                        PROFESSOR

              If the error does not lie in type E, I will check type D.  In
              that case, by programming type F.... This way, I.... [he
              begins to exit]

                                         BUTLER

              [watching the professor exit]  Professor?  Shoterunu's
              2138...Professor Wattsman!?

	As the door shuts behind the Professor, the butler drinks the wine himself.

	The Lovely Angel  heads toward the planet Agerna.  As she dives through the
clouds, the runway lights of the spaceport come into view.  The landing gear is unhoused,
and the Lovely Angel touches down.

	The Chief Manager stands in the room grasping onto his hat while the voice of
Uldas's Production Committee Chairman rants.

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [off the screen]  Counting this one, its the second time! 
              Why are only the Uldas people's experimentation plants being
              attacked?  Tell me!

                                         MANAGER

              That's a false accusation!  [facing an empty chair]  First
              off, we at Edia didn't even know that you had such
              experimentation plants like that one!  Aren't secret policies
              a trademark of Uldas?

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [voice coming from an empty chair]  In spite of everything,
              you're going to claim that Edia has nothing to do with
              Vizorium?

                                         MANAGER

              I'm not claiming anything!  I'm speaking the truth!  The
              reason why Edia is exporting Vizorium and abandoning the
              sales of high density minerals is because we are following
              our capitalistic principles.

                                        CHAIRMAN

              Capitalistic principles!?

                                         MANAGER

              We export Vizorium only as raw ore; the importing countries
              deal with the refining plants.  Capitalistic efficiency is
              highest this way.  There's no reason for us to sink large
              sums of money into experimentation plants!

	The seat turns out to be topped by a monitor that shows the Chairman giving his
statements in real-time.

                                        CHAIRMAN

              It's nothing as repulsive as investing or "sinking money" as
              you call it.  The exporting of refined Vizorium is a policy
              set forth by the Uldas High Council, and it's a policy the
              public wants!  It's the pride of the Uldas people that we can
              supply countries throughout the galaxy this way!  We're
              aiming for much higher goals then Edia's money-making
              policies!

                                         MANAGER

You can shove your moldy propaganda up your asshole!  In any case, Edia's not concerned with Uldas's experimental plants or her people's pride!  Besides, I have just finished 4 days worth of all-night work, and I'm very tired!  All I want to do is to go home, take a shower, have a shot of bourbon, and crawl into bed!!

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [shocked and angered]  Asshole?!?

	A door opens and the Chief Manager's secretary walks in.

                                         MANAGER

              [to secretary]  Hmm?

                                        SECRETARY

Chief Manager, your scheduled guests have arrived.

                                         MANAGER

              Oh, is that so!  You'll excuse for moment, I'm
              sure...[putting on his hat and turns towards the door, pauses
              and looks back at the monitor]  Oh, give my regards to your
              proud people!

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [extremely angry]  Don't run away!  Admit that this is Edia's
              destructive handiwork!  Hey, come back!...Asshole!!

	There is a screen displaying the two hemispheres of the planet Agerna while the
secretary briefs the guests on the situation.

                                        SECRETARY

              I'm sure you already know this, but this planet, Agerna, is a
              treasure trove of Vizorium.  We of Edia were the first to
              discover this planet which is covered with high-yielding
              Vizorium ore.  [screen changes to a photo of a lump of
              Vizorium ore with a hand to show perspective, then a shot of
              both countries flags and back to the two hemispheres of
              Agerna]  Shortly afterwards, the Uldas Republic, where these
              incidents occurred, also came and participated in developing
              and terra-forming this planet.  [Yuri keeps track of what the
              secretary is saying while Kei and Mugi both look somewhat
              bored]  Edia's claim is a civilian development; Uldas's is a
              state-owned industry.  But in terms of the large sums of
              money invested and the national prestige at risk, both sides
              are about the same.  [explaining the screen]  This is Edia's
              city here...population 70,000 people.  Mostly made up of
              private businessmen or developmental staff.  [next picture is
              of another city]  This is Uldas's city...population 80,000. 
              Everyone here is a government worker, technician, or
              bureaucrat.

                                          YURI

              [looks on with Kei and Mugi]  What about the Uldas test
              plants where the incidents occurred? [Kei yawns]

                                        SECRETARY

              They are located at two places:  here, and here...That's all
              we know about them.

                                           KEI

              That's all?

                                        SECRETARY

              I'm sorry, but unfortunately, Uldas doesn't have an open
              information policy so we can't learn anything more. 
              Furthermore, civilians, other than diplomats, are not allowed
              into those areas...

                                           KEI

              [exasperated]  Wha...what?  So you don't know anything about
              them...

	Kei looks to her side to see the Chief Manager asleep from his hard nights at
work.  Yuri and Kei then stand up.  Yuri walks over and kicks the chair out from under him
causing him to fall flat on his back.

                                         MANAGER

              Ugh!!  Huh?

	The Secretary giggles at the Chief Manager's blooper.

                                         MANAGER

              [standing up]  So that's that.  At first, it was a small
              dispute between us and the guys at Uldas.  We didn't feel the
              need to call in the WWWA, but if it turns into an economic
              dispute, we stand to lose more money than your fees.  I'd
              like you to keep that in mind during this case.

	The scene cuts to a view of one of Edia's streets at night.  The people of the
city are unwinding from a hard day at work.  An air truck's main engines fire as it skims
across the street.  The air truck causes the people in the street to scatter and look for
cover from the maniac driver.
	NOTE:  One of the magazines has "Captain Noda" manga and a "Carl Vinson" beta
video box. -Anthony, et. al.
	An overhead shot of the truck reveals that Yuri and Kei, with Yuri driving, are in
command of the truck.  Kei is holding on to a support bar for dear life with her eyes
closed as Yuri starts to dance to Poker Face's "Matters to Me."  The Lovely Angel is
parked at the space port, and Mugi is napping on one of her wings.  An intense light
shines out at Mugi who looks up.  Yuri buzzes Mugi who is so scared he tumbles off the
Lovely Angel and lands on his head on the ground below.  Mugi looks up at the receding air
truck to see Yuri and Kei waving at him.
	Yuri really starts getting into the music and dances away from the controls of the
air truck, much to the consternation of Kei.  As the air truck starts to tilt, Kei lunges
at the controls, gives Yuri a dirty look, and brings the air truck back under control. 
Kei then proceeds to give Yuri a piece of her mind, but Yuri just ignores it.  Kei gives
up with a deep sigh.  The air truck then travels the rest of the way to one of Uldas's
experimentation plants under Yuri's "expert" driving.  Yuri brings the air truck down on a
landing pad.

	The plant is almost totally destroyed.  Workmen are trying to clean up the mess as
the Lovely Angels walk up to where the Chairman is.

                                          YURI

              [looking over her shoulder]  One monster did all this?

                                        CHAIRMAN

              That was the last time!  This time, there were three
              creatures, three of them!  Their numbers vary.

                                           KEI

              And where are they now?

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [squatting down on top of a pile of trash]  I don't know...it
              took all of our might just to get rid of them!

                                          YURI

              [talking to Kei as if it was some outsider's business]  Wow,
              it was wrecked pretty badly, wasn't it?

                                           KEI

              [responding to Yuri with a chuckle]  Yeah, maybe they were in
              a bad mood?

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [sitting]  It's Edia!  They're trying to destroy our 5-year
              plan!

                                          YURI

              [turning around]  Oh, how do you know that?

                                           KEI

              [leaning forward eagerly]  Yeah, yeah, tell us!  If you do,
              we can go back home early and take our vacation!

                                        CHAIRMAN

              The first attack was on our experimental ore-prospecting
              plant.  The second attack was on this test plant!  In both
              attacks, the monsters were after Vizorium.

                                          YURI

              Vizorium?!

                                        CHAIRMAN

              If they were some sort of wild animals, they wouldn't be
              after such a rare metal!  So it has to be the work of Edia! 
              [Kei approaches while looking around] 

                                           KEI

              [looking up]  What kind of experiments were being done here?

                                        CHAIRMAN

              I-I-can't tell you that...If you were spies for Edia...

                                           KEI

              [angered]  Spies!?!  You're telling me you can't trust the
              WWWA?!

	Kei grabs the Chairman by the lapels and throws him to the ground.

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [being strangled by Kei, choking out the words]  Ugh!! O-OK. 
              I-I understand!  I understand. 

                                           KEI

              No you don't understand.  Our duty here is to investigate
              this case and get rid of the source of the trouble.  Edia and
              Uldas have nothing to do with it!

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [catching his breath, with Kei still holding on to his shirt] 
              I-I-I was wrong.  I'm-I'm sorry, please forgive me...

                                           KEI

              Fine!  [rudely releasing the chairman]  So, what kind of
              experiments were you doing?

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [still catching his breath]  In-in-in the prospecting plant,
              we had -of course- developed new techniques for refining
              Vizorium.  Since it was destroyed by Edia's monsters, we were
              forced to refine Vizorium from its ore.  Therefore, we were
              experimenting with modifying the newly developed refining
              techniques for use with the ores...

                                          YURI

              ...which just got destroyed.  I see.  [Kei looks back at Yuri
              and winks]

	When the Chairman tries to stand up, he unwittingly puts his weight on a piece of
pipe that snaps off in his hand.  Everyone looks up in time to see a portion of the plant
falling towards them.

                                       YURI & KEI

              [looking up]   Aaaahhhh---!

	Panning back, the scene shows an entire section of the plant collapsing.

                                  YURI, KEI, & CHAIRMAN

              [in the background]  Waaaahhhh----!

	A massive dust cloud rises as the debris falls to the ground.  When the smoke
slowly clears, there is a giant heap of trash.  Four heads pop up out of the mound in the
order of:  Yuri, Chairman, Vice Manager, and then Kei.  As Kei emerges a falling shovel
bops her on the head and bounces back up.  Kei deftly snatches it out of the air.

                                      VICE MANAGER

              [vice factory head of Uldas]  Production Committee Chairman,
              the only part of the experimentation plant that escaped
              damage has been destroyed...sir.

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [yelling and struggling still dazed from the destruction] 
              AAUUUUGGGH!  What will become of our 5-year plan?!?  Do
              something!! [A shovel flies at him which he barely catches] 
              Huh?

	Yuri and Kei stand up on top of the trash.

                                           KEI

              Do it yourself!

	Cut to Yuri and Kei ascending in their air truck.  Yuri is at the control as Kei
leans back.

                                          YURI

              [running her hand through her hair]  Aah!  I just shampooed
              it, too!

                                           KEI

              It's becoming!  It's becoming...!  Just, drive carefully!

	Yuri responds with a pout. 

	Inside the Lovely Angel's cockpit, signals flicker keeping track of the air truck. 
Mugi sleeps on top of a sheet and snores blissfully.

	Yuri and Kei's air truck approaches the closed prospecting plant.  Aiming its
search light inside, the air truck passes behind some columns, shedding light on a wrecked
tank.  Inside the residential sections, the light moves as if it is searching for
something.  The light then runs up a wall and passes through a grating causing eerie
shadows to move about.  While the search light moves behind the tank, the air truck passes
by.
	NOTE:  The background music is a direct take-off of "Vulture Culture" by Alan
Parsons Project. -Ray & Masaki
	       This piece is not on the soundtrack. -Anthony, et. al.
	Finally, the air truck descends; its lights slowly drop out of sight.  Now inside
the plant, Kei activates an emergency power generator.  The lights flicker before finally
illuminating the room with a dim glow.  Yuri and Kei look at each other and smile.  Then,
Yuri and Kei start their search by looking around the gloomy plant. 
	They pass behind a piece of fallen catwalk, and Kei pushes Yuri forward to lead
the search.  A little ways ahead, Yuri jumps behind Kei and forces her to take the lead. 
A hatch-styled door opens, pushing away an empty box of instant noodles, and Kei steps in. 
In the dim light over the door, Kei sticks her head into the room and then Yuri.  As Kei
peers around the room, she sees a horrible face peering back at her!

                                           KEI

              [frightened]  Buaaah---!

	Kei leaps back, pushing Yuri out of the room and into the hallway.  Kei collapses
on the floor in a fit of convulsions.  Yuri draws out her gun and kicks in the door with
all her might.  She then rushes into the room and takes aim.  Surprised by what she sees,
Yuri drops her guard.  She then spots something else and turns to aim.  Then, laughter
overcomes her.

                                          YURI

              [looking in a mirror]  Hee...hee...hee!  Kei, it's just a
              mirror reflecting...[turning to Kei]

	Kei is still in shock on the floor, and Yuri smiles and begins to look around.  In
the residential shower room, water is falling drop by drop.  Yuri hears the water and
smiles to herself.  She then presses a switch which turns on the lights in the bathroom. 
There, both Yuri and Kei throw off their uniforms and carelessly leave them on the floor
or hanging on some nearby handrails.  Kei is humming "Matters to Me."  In an instant, they
are side-by-side in bathtubs, taking a leisurely bubble-bath.

                                           KEI

              [as her leg rises from the bubbles]  I never thought I'd be
              taking a bath in a place like this!

                                          YURI

              [sitting languidly in another bubble filled bath tub]  You
              know, this water could've been used in the fuel cells...

                                           KEI

              Don't worry about it!   Don't worry about it!  In any case, a
              bath taken during work is the best!  If only we had some wine
              to go it...Hey, do you remember the Casanova case?

                                          YURI

              Ah!  You mean that Jekyll and Hyde character?

                                           KEI

              Yeah...When he saw my naked body, he got so excited!!

                                          YURI

              What?  Seeing that naked body?

                                           KEI

              What?  Any objections?

                                          YURI

              Well you have been putting on a little weight lately...

                                           KEI

              Nonsense!  My character's just becoming more rounded...Aah! 
              Look! I just found a mole!  This is the kind that gives you
              bad luck with men!

                                          YURI

              Hah!  That's probably a lie.

                                           KEI

              It's the truth.  I just tested it the other day.

                                          YURI

              Well, you mean that mole?

	From inside an air duct in the shower room's ceiling, someone peeps into the
bathroom, watching Yuri and Kei in the bath tubs.  The man lays his hand on the grill of
the air duct as he looks through the slits.  Unfortunately, he exerts too much pressure on
the grate, and it pops loose sending the man plummeting down.

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [falling down]  Waaaaah---!

                                       YURI & KEI

              [looking up]  Huh?

	The young man lands in Yuri's bath tub.

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [landing in Yuri's tub]  Bwa-! 

                                          YURI

              [Embarrassed, she kicks the young man out of the tub] 
              Kyaa--!

                                           KEI

              [The young man lands in Kei's tub, right between her legs] 
              Gyaaa--!

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [stunned, he raises his face from the bubbles]  Unh...

                                           KEI

              [looking at the young man]  Ah!

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [looking at Kei]  Ah!

                                           KEI

              That face!  [Zoom back as Kei notices that the young man's
              hands are covering her breasts]

                                        YOUNG MAN

              Ex-excuse me...

                                           KEI

              [sarcastically]  Feel them anytime!!!

                                        YOUNG MAN

              B-but if I move my hands, I'll be able to see them.

	The young man gives Kei's breasts a few friendly squeezes.  Yuri, in the meantime,
is reaching for a towel to cover herself with.

                                           KEI

              Then close your eyes!  [Kei pounds the young man with her
              fist]

	The young man flies past Yuri.

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [flying across the screen]  Gyaaaa---!

                                          YURI

              [at the same time the young man is flying across the screen;
              surprised from the  sound]  Aaaah!

	The young man's path intersect the wall, and he collapses.

                                          YURI

              [wrapping a towel around her body]  Do you guys know each
              other?

                                           KEI

              [also wrapping herself with a towel]  Remember the Vizorium
              case, one person escaped?  That's him.

                                          YURI

              Oh, that guy!  [Yuri reaches for a gun and tosses it to Kei]

                                        YOUNG MAN

              [picking his head up and rubbing his jaw]  Ooooh!  I felt
              that one!

                                           KEI

              Carson D. Carson, a petty thief specializing in rare metals.

                                   YOUNG MAN -> CARSON

              [getting up]  I'm not a petty thief!  Despite appearances,
              I'm the best in the business.  Besides that, why in the world
              are you two taking a bath in a place like this?  You want to
              get killed?

                                           KEI

              What are you doing here, being a Peeping Tom in a place like
              this?  Do you want to get killed?

                                         CARSON

              [sighs]  You just don't understand, do you?  [As he gets up,
              something falls out of his shirt]  Huh?!

                                           KEI

              OH!  A Vizorium sample!

                                          YURI

              [looking at Carson]  Oh...It looks like we were interrupting
              your work.

                                         CARSON

              No, no, you're wrong...This is...

                                           KEI

              [leaning forward]  Are you the one responsible for attacking
              the Uldas experimental plants?

                                         CARSON

              [standing up]  Experimental plants?  You gotta be kidding. 
              Besides, I don't have the time here...

                                          YURI

              [walks toward her uniform and takes something out]  Oh, time? 
              You'll have plenty of that...[throws Carson a pair of
              handcuffs]...in prison!

                                         CARSON

              [catching the handcuffs]  Uh...

                                          YURI

              It's the top button, you know.

                                         CARSON

              But...

                                           KEI

              No buts...[raises her gun to level at Carson]  Anything else,
              no life either!

                                         CARSON

              [mortified] ---!  Aargh!  It's just not my day!! [pushes the
              button, and the handcuffs snap open and lock on his wrists;
              looking around]  I won't be responsible for anything that
              happens!

                                           KEI

              [bending down and picking up the Vizorium]  This should worth
              about 15 million credits.  [stuffs it down her top and
              giggles]

	Just as Kei finishes putting the Vizorium sample down her top, a monster's hand
breaks through the floor.

                                           KEI

              [falling back]  Bwaa-!

                                         CARSON

              [flinching]  Da-damn!

                                          YURI

              [jumping back as another monster breaks through the wall
              behind her]  Aahh--!

	Kei looks stunned as she sees a monster towering over her.  As the monster makes a
grab for her, Kei jumps out of the way.  Kei rolls to her side and shoots the monster. 
Yuri reaches Kei's side as Carson sits behind them fumbling with the cuffs.  Yuri and Kei
run off the screen as a second monster moves in.  Carson looks up just in time to jump
over the diving second monster.  Carson leap-frogs over the second monster and tries to
escape through the hole it made, only to come face-to-face with the wounded first
monster. 
	Meanwhile, Yuri and Kei are surrounded by two more monsters.  The Angels split up
to avoid a thunderous punch that goes through the floor.  Yuri jumps up, hangs on to a
pipe, and delivers a kick to the head of one of the monsters.  The second monster attacks
Kei who shoots it.  Unfortunately, Kei's shot goes through the monster and cuts the pipe
that Yuri is hanging on.  Yuri falls into one of the bath tubs.  She hurriedly backs up as
one of the monsters picks up the bath tub hoping to crush Yuri with it.  The monster looks
around as Yuri disappears.  Yuri shows up standing on top of the bath tub and shoots the
monster in the head through the tub.
	Yuri, Carson, and Kei take this moment to leave the bathroom.  As they are running
and stumbling down the corridor, a few monster are in hot pursuit.  They reach the end of
corridor and find themselves on a "cliff," a few levels above where the girls' air truck
is parked.  When they look back in the direction they came, they see that their escape
route is blocked by one monster...then several hundred come into view.
	Carson suddenly looks at Kei and trips her.  Yuri instinctively points her gun at
Carson.  Before Yuri or Kei can react, Carson, still handcuffed, reaches down Kei's top
and extracts the Vizorium sample.  Kei's eyes pop at Carson's maneuver and starts to sit
up just as Carson flings the Vizorium at the passively waiting monsters.  As Kei sits up,
she inadvertently trips Yuri.  All the monsters follow the ingot as it arcs through the
air and scramble to the spot where it lands.  They pile on top of one another, tearing
each other apart to reach the Vizorium sample.
	Yuri and Kei both get up and look stunned.  Carson seizes this moment to grab
Yuri's gun hand and shoots at a pipe across the chasm.  He cut the pipe at its base, and
it tips over to fall against their side of the chasm.  The pipe lies in a direct line from
where they are standing and the air truck.  Carson smiles and releases Yuri's gun and
hand, reaches for the pipe, and slides down the pipe to the air truck.  Yuri and Kei both
look at him and then follow him down. 
	Cut back to the squirming pile of monster as the bright lights and the loud
turbine whine of the rising air truck lifts off behind them.  In the rising air truck, Kei
frowns at the scene; Carson looks on in dead-pan; and Yuri still appears shocked at what
she sees.  The air truck continues to rise out of sight away from what's left of the
plant.

	A claw of one the monster falls onto a lighted table, and a man's legs walk beside
the table.  Machinery lowers the rest of the monster onto the table.  As the man walks by,
his hand (with a fiber-optic jack in the back) strokes over the monster's bulk.  He plugs
a coiled fiber-optic cable into the back of his hand and pulls what looks likes a
dentist's light on a boom arm down into contact with the monster's body.  He begins to
pull levers and flip switches on the equipment around him.  Inside the "dentist's light,"
a pump begins to draw the concentrated body fluids out of the monster which begins to
shrivel.  The "light" begins to rise, and a robotic arm extends from it.  The arm is
carrying a small vial filled with green fluid.  The man looks at the tube and chuckles
softly to himself.  As the camera looks back at the monster, it crumbles to dust. 
	
	Lightning bolts light up the clouds.  Yuri is re-tying the towel around her hips
as the air truck glides along.  She is holding her gun with her teeth.  Once done, she
flips the gun into the air and catches it.

                                          YURI

              Okay, you can turn around now.

                                         CARSON

              [his back turned and looking over his shoulder]  Don't think
              you'll get away with this!

                                          YURI

              Don't worry, all the people of Purple Town dress like that!

                                         CARSON

              [looking at his bare legs and feet as he turns]  Those guys
              are all gay!  [panning up to show that he is only wearing
              handcuffs and pink (magenta) shorts with black polka-dots] 
              You're making the name Carson D. Carson weep!

                                          YURI

              Don't you think it's about time you started explaining?

                                         CARSON

              [confused]  Explaining what?

                                          YURI

              How did you know about those monsters?  Why were you in the
              prospecting plant?  What were you after?

                                         CARSON

              Huh?  [breaks out into uncontrollable laughter] 
              Hahahahahahaha!  [Yuri and Kei are struck dumb with surprise]
              Hahahahahaha!  [Yuri and Kei start to laugh with Carson even
              though they don't know why]  Hahahahahaha!

                                          YURI

              [angrily]  Did I say something funny?

                                         CARSON

              You girls came here without any sort of preparation at all?!  
              Hahahahahah!...And you call yourselves PROFESSIONALS?

	A laser blast flashes past Carson's face, and he suddenly controls himself.
	
                                          YURI

              [smoke rising from her gun]  If you really want to die,
              should I arrange it for you?

                                         CARSON

              All right, all right.  Calm down and listen.  First off, you
              let me know that you two don't know anything about this
              case...This is not the way of a pro.

	Yuri and Kei look at each other dumb struck by this statement.

                                         CARSON

              Second, you two threaten to kill me, even though you can't. 
              This is not very professional, either.

                                          YURI

              [angered]  Why do you think we can't kill you?

                                         CARSON

              Because you want to know what I know!  [Yuri and Kei both
              have blank looks]  This is how a professional thinks, got it? 
              [leaning back on the rail in total confidence]

                                          YURI

              [recovers and smiles]  But even you're not a professional,
              either.  [winking at Carson]

                                         CARSON

              [surprised]  Hmmm?

                                          YURI

              First off, just by this little conversation we've had, you've
              let us know that you know something very important.

                                         CARSON

              [sweating a little]  Ulp---!

                                          YURI

              Second, there are plenty of ways to make you talk.   [giggles
              as Kei step forward.  Yuri then pushes down Kei's bandana to
              act as a blindfold.  Yuri then hands her gun to Kei]  Doozo!* 
              [Yuri winks and flashes the "V" for victory]

	*NOTE:  "Doozo" is usually used as "please", but is used here sort of like "he's
all yours."  -Ray & Masaki
	Kei levels Yuri' gun and begins to fire blindly in Carson's direction.

                                         CARSON

              Aaaahhhhhh!  [leaps over the side of the air truck and hangs
              on to the rail]  Stop it!!  You murderers!!  Stop it!!!

                                          YURI

              Call us "professionals"!  [the shots stop]  So, what do you
              know?

                                         CARSON

              [climbing back into the air truck]  You didn't have to be so
              rough.

                                          YURI

              Do you feel like talking to us now?

                                         CARSON

              [catching his breath]  Pro-professor Wattsman...

                                          YURI

              Professor Wattsman?

                                           KEI

              Professor Wattsman?

	NOTE:  The music "Bad Guy" that is playing in the background is taken almost
directly off of Alan Parson Project's "Where's the Walrus."  -Anthony, et. al.
	Cut to Wattsman in his lab at a console.  Computer displays are shown on his LCD
"eyes" as he plays with various controls and adjusts the optic cables in his temples. 
Glass tubes are bombarded with electromagnetic radiation.  One tube, the left one,
contains the isolated genes from one of the monster while the other is empty for the
moment.  As the machines do their work, the empty vial starts to fill up with duplicated
copies of the gene in the left vial.  When the synthesis is complete, Wattsman smiles and
his features dissolve into Carson's face.

                                         CARSON

              A professional thief must first be a professional information
              collector.  After that, it's all just a matter of technique.

                                          YURI

              What you're saying is that you are after something from
              Professor Wattsman?

                                         CARSON

              I've got no comment on that...but I do have the information
              you want.

                                          YURI

              [to Kei]  Should we work with him?

                                           KEI

              [to Yuri]  You gotta be kidding if you think that we're going
              to make a deal with this guy.  [Yuri cringes from the verbal
              attack]  Besides, do you think we can trust him??

                                         CARSON

              [turning around]  If there is anybody that can't trusted,
              it's you two!!  I'm the one who's been having such a
              difficult time because of your Vizorium sting operation.

                                          YURI

              [turning back to Carson]  Okay.  We won't interfere in your
              work, and you won't have any say in our investigation.  Under
              these conditions of give and take*.  How about it?

	*NOTE:  This is spoken in English. -Ray & Masaki

                                         CARSON

              [suspiciously]  Really?  Mutual noninterference?

	Kei raises her gun and points it Carson while Yuri looks on in fear.  Carson
cringes back just as Kei shoots off the handcuffs.  Carson breathes a sigh of relief and
rubs his wrists.

                                           KEI

              We honor our promises...even with a person we hate!

                                         CARSON

              Someone once said that rough women are crying out for love.

                                           KEI

              Huh?  [angrily]  Who said that??

                                         CARSON

              Carson D. Carson...me.

	Kei's expression turns blank, and she blinks in shock.

	Cut to the area around Professor Wattsman's labs.  The lab rises out of a dense
patch of fog.  Tendrils of fog dance across the screen as if they were alive.  A blood-red
full moon grimaces behind the clouds; its rivers flowing across its face like blood
vessels on an eyeball.  Fog trickles over the edge of a cliff next to some heavy power
cables running between the lab and some sort of power plant glowing red and green.
	A wide shot of the area shows the lab to be in the center of a crater with several
"power plants" situated around the bottom of the outside of the crater.  The air truck is
sitting on a ledge at the edge of the crater. The camera zooms in close to reveal that the
occupants of the air truck are gone.  The camera then shows the slope of the crater as
three lines drop into view from above.  Yuri and Carson repel down the face of the rock
while Kei, a few seconds later, is shown lowering herself down hand over hand.  They all
make it down to a lower, inner rim of the crater and rush up to the edge of the ledge for
a look.  Some sort of electric grid about a foot below the ledge extends from the ledge to
the Professor's lab. effectively "covering" the area below it.  On the ledge with the trio
is a great deal of wreckage
	Kei steps forward intending to jump in, but Carson stops her.  The girls look at
each other and turn back to look at what Carson is doing.  Carson bends down and picks up
a piece of debris and throws it into the grid of energy.  The piece "floats" on top of the
field as three energy bolts arc their way toward the wreckage.  As the bolts hit the piece
of  debris, the debris is disintegrated.  The field is some kind of security sensor web
with the ability to destroy trespassers.  Yuri and Kei gasp in astonishment.

                                         CARSON

              Some sort of ion field...If we came into contact with that,
              we'd be dead in an instant.  [turning to Yuri and Kei]  You
              see?  The Professor doesn't want his research disturbed by
              anyone.

	Carson then picks up a massive piece of pipe and carries it on his back to the
edge.  Yuri and Kei watch him, then follow him as he carries his burden to the edge.  He
drops it upright to the ground and balances it so it won't fall in.

                                          YURI

              What are you trying to do with that thing?

                                         CARSON

              [smiles and winks at Yuri]  I thought we had an agreement not
              to interfere with each other...

	Carson lets the pipe fall into the field in an upright position against the inner
rim and through the field.  As before, the plasma bolts come out of nowhere and slam into
the pipe, but the pipe doesn't break.  Before the next bolts can reach the pipe, Carson
jumps into the pipe and slides down.  Inside the pipe little traces of static electricity
play along the inside wall of the pipe.  Yuri and Kei gasp in amazement.  Carson performs
a tuck-and-roll as he clears the mouth of the pipe just as the next wave of energy bolts
attack the pipe.  This time, the pipe is turned into metal splinters.
	Yuri and Kei look down to see Carson stand up, flips them a mock salute, and runs
off toward the lab.  Kei smiles, waves back, and giggles at Carson's success.  Yuri, on
the other hand, looks on in surprise which turns into a nasty glare directed at Kei.  Kei
responds with a sheepish grin.  Both frown and turn back to watch Carson as he dodges
around some wreckage at the bottom of the crater in his journey towards the Professor's
lab.
	Yuri and Kei try to emulate Carson.  They try to lift up another large piece of
pipe, but even together, they can hardly lift it.  Sweating and straining, they inch their
way over to the rim.  Yuri suddenly looses her grip on her end the pipe and narrowly
escapes having her toes smashed.  As Yuri looses her grip, Kei also looses her grip and
falls backward.  Kei picks herself up as she and Yuri try again to move the pipe.  This
time, they can't even lift it.  Yuri shrugs her shoulders as Kei walks to the side of the
pipe and gives it a good solid kick out of total frustration.  The pipe shifts its bulk
slightly.

	Cut inside the laboratory of Professor Wattsman.  An assortment of images flash
across the display screens: organic molecular diagrams, vaguely human silhouettes,
computer readouts, etc.  The Professor's wired hands play across the controls, and an
energy beam irradiates one of the genetic sample vials.  Another beam whose frequency is
matched with that of the sample strikes a lump of Vizorium ore.  The readout reflect off
and mingle with what is outputted on Wattsman's LCD eyes.  Light beams begin to leak out
of an immensely tall test chamber as the camera pans up the length of it.  The beams shoot
past the Professor's work capsule, a clear globe full of controls and displays, on the end
of a gigantic manipulator arm.  As he looks about, Professor Wattsman begins to laugh.

                                        PROFESSOR

              Hahahaha!!!  12111 hours and 29 minutes...It's perfect!! 
              It's art!  The beginning of a new age!  A complete inorganic
              transcription of a perfect RNA polymerase!

	Carson's feet are seen tip-toeing beside some equipment.  A sudden bright flash
causes him to take cover behind a console.  A brief reappearance of the computer readouts
then the lights streaming from the test chamber flash two or three times and wink out
leaving only wisps of smoke flowing from the chamber.  The Professor brings his capsule
lower to get a better look when he suddenly hears a loud noise.  He jumps back a bit and
then produces a small remote control on which he punches a few buttons.  With each button,
a latch on the test chamber is released.  A bright gold light streams out from each latch
as it is opened.

                                        PROFESSOR

              A perfect sample of bio-soft...!

	The tension mounts as Carson peeks out from behind his hiding place for a better
look.  The Professor leans in toward the test chamber in anticipation.  Suddenly a blast
of static destroys Wattsman's view causing him to jump and turn around.  Static erupts
from the large view screen behind the Professor which quickly blends into the butler's
face.

                                         BUTLER

              Professor, what shall I do about the dinner menu tonight?

                                        PROFESSOR

              [furious]  Idiot!!!  I have told you again and again not to
              use this channel!!!  [slamming his fist down on the console,
              shutting off the display]

	Slowly, the door of the test chamber opens and more gold light streams out.  The
Professor turns around with cords tangled around his face as a pulsating, swirling mass at
the bottom of the chamber begins to shape itself into a vaguely female form.  Carson's
expression changes into one of near awe as the Professor takes a step forward and smiles a
little.  The female silhouette becomes more defined as long hair begins to billow out from
"her" head as though swirled by some unseen wind.  The "woman" walks out of the chamber on
the balls of her feet; a beautiful woman with light blue hair that glows softly.  The
Professor's capsule lowers to the floor, and he leaps out to run toward the newly formed
beauty.  aA he runs, his head is snapped back by the cables that are still connecting him
to his capsule.  The professor applies so much force in his attempt to reach the beauty,
the cables either snap or are pulled out of their sockets.  He stops a few meters from the
"woman" at the base of the test chamber's platform on which she stands.  Wattsman reaches
out to the beauty with both hands and smiles appreciatively.  The view pans slowly up her
form which is surprisingly human looking.  As the professor begins to ascend the step to
where the sadinga beauty is standing, she doubles over in pain and begins to convulse. 
the skin of one of her forearms bursts open to reveal the arm of a green monster followed
by the legs and torso.  Finally, the last traces of her "human" form lets out a terrifying
scream as her head contorts and explodes.   The Professor falls back down the stairs, and
carson watches in horror as the last vestiges of the human form evaporate to leave a
regular green monster.  However, even this form is unstable as the monster begins to burst
open, disintegrating upwards as if on a stream of air from the floor.  The Professor,
meanwhile, has fallen back down the stairs and watches in horror along with Carson who is
still lurking in the shadows.  Wattsman picks himself up off the floor, hangs his head
down, and sighs to himself.

                                        PROFESSOR

              Perfect...art...?

	NOTE:  "I think there's an unintentional pun on his ego here.  The Professor's
words in Japanese are: `Paafecto...geijutsu...ka?'  where the `-ka' denotes the
questioning tone.  HOWEVER, while `geijutsu' means ART, add the `ka' to the word ITSELF
makes `geijutsuka,' which means ARTIST!  Is he depressed at the failure of the experiment,
asking if it's really art after all, or is his ego taking over as he calls himself a
perfect artist?  The facial expression change as he says `ka' suggest the former, but I
can't help but feel this was added for a laugh.  You decide for yourself." - Ray & Masaki
	The Professor sits dejected on the edge of his capsule as a manipulator arm lifts
it into a travel tube, and an iris doorway closes behind it as Carson watches from below. 
just as Carson reaches the top of an access ladder leading to the iris door, the door
reopens.  He begins running down the long tube only to be caught by a foot in the face. 
he goes flying against the back wall of the tube and is knocked unconscious.  It was Kei,
coming out of a side tube feet first ahead of Yuri, who knocked him out.

                                           KEI

              [grabbing a bar in the ceiling]  Yatta*!

	*NOTE:   Yatta, a common Japanese phrase meaning "Bingo", "Yippee", "All-right!",
"Victory", etc. -Anthony, et. al.

                                          YURI

              [still in the side tube]  Splendid!

                                           KEI

              [swinging off the bar]  Heave-ho!  [noticing how Carson is
              lying there]  Oh dear, maybe I hit him a little too hard?

                                          YURI

              He's just a little too weak...for a man.  Let's go!  [getting
              out of the side tube]

                                           KEI

              [worried]  It might be dangerous if we just leave him
              there...

                                          YURI

              [going far off the screen]  He's the guy who`s trying to get
              ahead of us!

                                           KEI

              He's probably hurt...Surely...

                                          YURI

              [rubbing her elbow against Kei]  You've fallen in love with
              him, haven't you?

                                           KEI

              SHUT UP!

                                          YURI

              [surprised by the vehemence of Kei's response]  Eek!

                                           KEI

              Even if I did kill him, nobody'll complain!  Let's go!

                                          YURI

              [as Kei leaves]  That was scary!

	Yuri and Kei run off down the tube while Carson opens one eye cautiously and
smiles.  The Angels make their way to a storage chamber with a big "eye" on the ceiling
and gigantic "tree roots."  They tip-toe along the tops of pipes and duct-work above the
chamber trying to keep their balance and not make any noise.  Below them, the Professor is
standing in front of a pedestal with a lump of Vizorium ore on top.  He begins to talk to
himself as the Angels watch and listen.

                                        PROFESSOR

              A sleep that has lasted 170 billion years...[throwing a cord
              to the ground]...I will not give up!  All the devices
              necessary for my plans are already complete...Just how long
              do you Sadingas plan to sleep, anyway!?  Even as our race is
              destroying yours... [pulling a jack from his head]...You
              cannot fool my calculations!!  [throwing away another cord] 
              I know everything.  I know you have been in hibernation since
              before the birth mankind, and that you are metal eaters,
              feeding on Vizorium.  [Yuri and Kei look down at the
              Professor]  As a geneticist, I have analyzed your genes and
              come across a very interesting fact...a secret that only I
              know!  Even while you Sadingas sleep, your genes have been
              picking up other species' mutations and using them to help
              shape your own evolution!  [opening a drawer and taking out a
              pack of gold-tipped cables that say "Light Cable"] 

	As Yuri looks down on this scene, a bare foot steps on her head.  Carson has
followed them and is climbing down the pipes from above.  Kei draws her gun and aims it at
Carson who jumps down and swats the gun away.  Kei scrambles in panic as she sees that the
gun will land on the ground and betray their position.  She jumps into the air in an
effort to retrieve the gun which somehow keeps out of range of her desperate hands. 
Finally gravity catches up with Kei, causing her to plummet.  Yuri grabs Kei's arm as Kei
falls, but Yuri is off-balance and begins to fall herself.  In a miraculous feat that
defies physics, the girls plummet faster than the gun.  Carson reaches out just in time to
grab the "waistband" of Yuri's homemade bikini bottoms, nearly pulling them off.  Carson's
effort stops the girls fall but not the gun.  Kei somehow catches the gun between her toes
and breathes a sigh of relief.  Kei looks up to see that Carson is really straining to
keep them all from falling.  Yuri doesn't look to pleased about the situation, either.

                                        PROFESSOR

              [continuing with his speech despite the spectacle above]  It
              is true that the three-leaved bugs and the dinosaurs became
              extinct because of some mistake in their genetic
              programming...[tearing open the bag of cables just as Yuri's
              bikini bottoms begin to rip]  I know that in order to avoid
              the same mistake your genes are processing genetic
              information in your slumber so that you can establish an age
              in which you can arise again.  And while you dream, the human
              race will probably collapse sooner or later...But, despite
              all of your observations and processing, the chances of you
              Sadingas taking over the universe after the humans are gone
              is ZERO!  All because humans, who are totally ignorant of the
              evolutionary process, are using you as fuel for their warp
              engines!  If you do not arise from your slumber now, then
              just like coal and oil, you will be consumed by humans!  Is
              that acceptable to you?  Where is the mistake in my mutation
              program!?  There is no mistake in my mutation program!  Why
              do you not awake according to my bio-program?? [Yuri's
              "bikini" rips a little further]  I will not give up!  I will
              be damned if I do!!  Evolution exists to adapt a species to
              changing conditions.  A species that branches off from the
              main evolutionary path will never be rejoined again!  But
              nobody really understands why organisms evolve in the first
              place!  You Sadingas can put an end to that mystery!  [more
              ripping sounds from above]  I MUST awaken you from your long
              sleep at all costs!  It is my responsibility and duty as an
              evolutionary scientist!

	The Professor enters the capsule, carrying the cables in one hand.  The
manipulator arms lifts the capsule back up to the travel tube, and just as he passes,
Carson, who cannot stand the strain any longer, lets go.  All three fall to the floor as
the iris door closes.  Carson, Yuri, and Kei are lying in a heap and slowly begin to pick
themselves up.

                                          YURI

              [rubbing her behind]  Ouch!!

                                         CARSON

              [rubbing his shoulder]  Damn!  I felt as if my shoulder was
              going to be pulled out!  How much do you girls weigh?!

                                           KEI

              [both her and Yuri are angry]  What do you mean how much do
              we weigh?  If you were a real man, you would've been able to
              hold us up!

                                         CARSON

              WHAT!?  I've been taking it easy on you because you're women,
              but now, walking around aimlessly like floating fish
              crap...Don't interfere in my work!!

	NOTE:  The script says "medaka no unko" which means literally "medaka crap".  Why
would Carson pick medakas and not some other fish is beyond me. - Anthony, et. al.

                                           KEI

              [startled]  Fish crap...?!  [looks over at Yuri]

                                          YURI

              [beginning to cry]  That's so cruel!  Saying things like
              that...

                                           KEI

              [turns back to Carson, scowling]  How dare you!!  You're the
              one interfering with other people's business!  I should have
              kicked you out of the sky back there!

                                         CARSON

              If you think you can...you're welcome to try!  [smirks and
              pulls out Kei's gun from behind his back]

                                           KEI

              [stunned, flexes her hand as if the gun was just there]  Huh? 
              Uh...

	Yuri smiles an almost embarrassed smile.

                                         CARSON

              I hear that you are in love with me...[Kei's eyes pop
              open]...even if you are acting hard to get, I know perfectly
              well!   

                                           KEI

              [eyes down, twiddling her thumbs and talking underneath her
              breath as if she got caught doing something bad]  Just
              because you're a little bit handsome, doesn't mean that I
              have to like you...

                                         CARSON

              [still speaking in a half-mocking tone]  I won't tell you not
              to fall in love with me, but if you are, act more like a
              woman!

	Carson looks over at Kei  and is a bit surprised to see just how angry she has
become.  Kei's temper flares, and she starts to growl and move toward Carson who backs
away.

                                         CARSON

              [moving back] W-wait!  You're right about us not interfering
              with each other!  I don't want to interfere with your
              work...Waa!

	Kei jumps at Carson with fists flying as Carson duck away just in time.

                                         CARSON

              Please!...Stop...It's dangerous...!

	Kei throws several punches at Carson, but he dodges everyone of them.  Finally,
having enough of the fight, he ducks as Kei throws one last punch and pops her one as she
turns around to face him.

                                          YURI

              Kei!  [leans over to Kei as Kei slowly lifts her head and
              then scowls back at Carson as if she (Yuri) is going to
              attack him]  Mmmm!

                                         CARSON

              [throwing Kei the gun]  Here!  [both girls are startled]  To
              strike when insulted...This is not a children's game!  [both
              girls are staring silently at Carson]  Don't you girls have
              something you need to be doing?  Why don't you do it?  As for
              me...there is something I have to do even if it costs me my
              life.  [Kei looks enraptured as she holds her swollen jaw and
              listens to Carson speak]  Be good little girls and don't get
              in my way...Okay?

	As Carson walks away, the floor begins to disappear from the center of the room. 
He tries to to back away, but the floor vanishes too fast, and all three fall to the floor
below.  The root-like structures are hanging all around them from the ceiling.  As they
look up, they see the mechanical "eye" directly above them.  All around them are hundreds
of small pedestals with one lump of Sadinga "ore" on each pedestal. The pedestals are all
arranged in concentric circles around the center of the room.  The eye begins to rotate
just as Carson looks up and notices that it is pointed at the girls who are studying one
of the pedestals.  Carson leaps and pushes the girls away just as the "eye" unleashes a
beam that strikes the "ore."  The eye turns and fires radiation at each "ore" in sequence. 
As the beam strikes the "ore," it  begins to transform into a Sadinga monster.  Slobbering
Sadinga monsters are sprouting up all over the room.

                                          YURI

              [screaming]  Kyaaa---!

	Cut to the Professor's relaxation chamber.  The Professor is lying naked inside a
ball-massage machine which massages by causing a "current" of balls that are moved around
the tub.  The Professor is wearing some sort of headgear that incorporate goggles and
headphones.  The Professor is really enjoying his massage.

                                        PROFESSOR

              [relaxing in his bubble-massager]  Ooooh...Great...Ahhh!

	The butler appears on the large screen behind the Professor.

                                         BUTLER

              Professor, I have prepared supper.

                                        PROFESSOR

              [half buried in pink balls and not really listening to the
              butler]  I thought I told you to never use this circuit!  I
              don't feel like eating anything!  If it's dinner, you can eat
              it.

                                         BUTLER

              Is there some problem with your research?

                                        PROFESSOR

              I have left the Sadinga's at-random mutations to the
              auto-program.  I am so tired...I do not feel like doing
              anything.  I have had enough of the sudden
              mutations...[suddenly gets angry* and begins to throw some
              balls at the screen]  NO!  I will not give up!  I will be
              damned if I give up!

	*NOTE:  Maybe he's getting angry at himself for giving up.-Ray & Masaki

                                         BUTLER

              ["protecting" himself from the onslaught of balls] 
              Professor, it's bad for your health not to eat anything. 

                                        PROFESSOR

              [builds himself a little "cushion"]  I do not want food! 
              Bring me wine!  The best wine!

                                         BUTLER

              The best wine meaning...that wine?

                                        PROFESSOR

              Yes...that one.

                                         BUTLER

              But Professor, you gave me specific orders to keep that wine
              for the celebration when Project Eden is completed.

                                        PROFESSOR

              I do not care!  When that happens, you can get me another
              wine.  That is your job!!

                                         BUTLER

              Y-yes, sir.  I'll bring it immediately!

	The screen switches back to its original display, a computer image of what is
happening in the Sadinga mutation chamber in real time.  Beside the newly created Sadinga
monster moving about, are three humanoid shapes: one male and two females.

                                        PROFESSOR

              It is no good...I have no talent!  I am just a silly old man
              who can not do anything.  [noticing the computer display] 
              Hmmmm?!?!?  [takes off his protective eye gear to see two
              humanoid forms fighting the monster forms]  Waaa?!?! 

	The monster forms knock back the humanoid figures, but the humanoid figures keep
trying to defend themselves.  The Professor leans in for a closer look.

                                        PROFESSOR

              Ooh!!  That is a new type!  [scrambles out of the
              ball-massager, stumbling in his haste as he runs off
              screaming]  Bruno!!!  BRUNO!!!!

	NOTE:  Amazing how the Professor's movements keep him from being shown with full
frontal nudity. -Ray & Masaki
	The Professor runs down the corridor clad only in his bathrobe.  Bruno, the
butler, is wheeling in a wine cart with a bottle of wine in an ice bucket from one of
the side corridors.  The Professor, in his haste, upsets the cart as he runs by.  Bruno
saves the bottle of wine just before it is about hit the ground as the Professor continues
down the corridor.  The year 1945 can be seen on the bottle.

	Cut to the Sadinga mutation chamber where Yuri, Kei, and Carson are fighting for
their lives.  Yuri blasts two monsters as three other monsters attack Kei who leaps back
just in time to land on one the "roots" and fires into the group of monsters.  Carson is
leaping and dodging trying to keep the monsters away with nothing but brute strength.  The
scene switches to the computer generated wire figures, and then to the Professor as he is
plugging in his fiber-optic cables into some sort of controller.
	NOTE:  Star Trek in-joke:  An instant before the scene shifts to the Professor in
the bottom right corner of the computer display screen is the name "William Shatner." -Ray
& Masaki
		Actually there is more on the screen but you need a really sharp and clear
copy to see it.  In a diagonal strip from top right to bottom left, you can make out the
names "Fred Steiner", "Co?? Kaplan", "Jerry Fielding", "Original Soundtrack", and there's
a name cut off the right side.  The next frame has "END TITLE", "George Dun??", "Star
Trek", "U.S.S. Enterprise", "William Shatner", and another name cut off to the right,
"Ni??".  It's at 45:25-45:26 on the LD. -Anthony, et. al.
	The Professor plugs into the manipulator and laughs as the roots, actually organic
claws, come to life under his control...including the one Kei is on.  As the claws begin
to move, Kei is thrown from her perch.  Yuri looks over to see a Sadinga monster hurtling
straight at Carson, and Carson can't get away.  He trips as he tries to back away, and
just as the monster is about to reach him, a root-claw grabs the monster.  Carson looks up
to see the monster wriggling in it's attempt to escape, but the claw just squeezes tighter
until the monster bursts, spewing entrails.  The Professor's hand is shown making a
squeezing motion and then another motion as if to throw something away.  In response to
the Professor's hand, the claw throws away what's left of the monster, and Carson moves
just in time to escape from having the mess dumped on him.  It seems that the Professor
believes that Yuri, Kei, and Carson are just new mutations exhibited by the Sadingas
because he uses his root-claws to destroy all the "old" Sadinga monsters in his attempts
to capture the "new" forms.  Another claws tries to grab Yuri and Kei, but they dodge it
just in time.  All that the claw gets is more monsters that are killed and thrown away. 
The Professor makes sweeping motions in order to clear away more of the "old" forms in
order to get at the "new" forms.  He begins to activate more claws for this function.
	At one point, a "claws-eye" view swoops down at Kei who turns around just in time
to dodge away.  Meanwhile, Yuri tries to aim at something but has her gun knocked away by
one of the monsters.  The computer screen shows that one of the claws has caught one of
the new forms...it's Carson!  Kei looks up and then notices a claw coming straight for
her.  As she tries to dodge, the claw grabs her and lifts her up.  Both Kei and Carson
struggle to free themselves from the claws as they are lifted off the battlefield, leaving
Yuri to defend for herself.  As several monsters surround Yuri, Kei sees that she is
unarmed.  Kei gets her arm free enough to throw her gun within reach of Yuri.  Yuri leaps,
grabs the gun before it even hits the ground, and comes up shooting.  Yuri kills the
monster closest to her and looks around to see that all of the other root-claws are diving
towards her.  Thinking quickly, Yuri points Kei's gun straight up and fires twice at the
"eye."  She hits the "eye," breaking it from its mount.  A large power surge feeds back
into the cable's in the Professor's head giving him a massive shock.  All the monsters
look up to see the falling eye while Yuri leaps for safety to one side.  The "eye" hits
the floor, squishing some of the monsters, and explodes into a huge fireball that turns
the entire screen white.

	Snowflakes seem to falling against a solid background.  Two silhouettes walk out
of the haze of the background.  Kei and Carson are strictly silhouettes except for their
eyes.  Their voices echoing across the distances of dream.

                                           KEI

              Is it that important?

                                         CARSON

              Yeah, it's important

                                           KEI

              Are you going to do it no matter what?

                                         CARSON

              Yeah...

                                           KEI

              You're the first person who has both fallen in love with me
              and satisfied me.

                                         CARSON

              If you fall in love with love, you'll get burned.

                                           KEI

              I'm used to playing with fire...I won't get burned.

                                         CARSON

              Do you want to hate me?

	Kei's silhouette stops as Carson's walks a little ahead.  Then, Carson's
silhouette turns back toward her.

                                           KEI

              I'll hate you for you.

                                         CARSON

              Do you want to remember every time you see the burn?

                                           KEI

              I'll forget it for you.

	Close up of both faces looking into each others eyes.

                                         CARSON

              Are you being aggressive?

                                           KEI

[softly, almost apologizing]  I'm timid.

	The snowflakes begin to swirl and change into cherry blossoms. Then, a distant
shot of Kei and Carson's silhouettes begin to swirl and disappear.  The scene fades back
to reality as Kei comes to.  As she wakes, her eyes slowly focus on Carson's face as he
looking down at her lying on the floor.  Startled, she pulls back.

                                         CARSON

              [concerned]  Are you okay?  You seemed to be having a bad
              dream...

	Kei jumps up as the scene widens to show Carson and Kei trapped in some sort of
glass-walled chamber with various colored light beams zig-zagging around the outside of
the chamber.  She rushes to the glass wall and presses against it to look out.

                                           KEI

              [yelling]  Yuuuurrriiiii!!!

	Cut to a dark room whose floor is covered with the smoldering remnants of many
Sadinga monsters.   As the scene pans, a hand pokes out from beneath the exoskeleton of
one of the corpses.  Yuri raises herself up and throws off the corpse only to have another
one fall on top of her.  Luckily it falls onto her as though it were custom made
camo-armor.  She smiles as she adjusts the "armor" and sneaks off into the darkness. 
Meanwhile, Carson gets up and looks at Kei.

                                         CARSON

              [completely puzzled]  What's this about getting burned?

	Kei stiffens and slowly, sheepishly turns around to look at him.  Suddenly, she
slaps him across the face with a wide swing.

                                         CARSON

              What the hell was that for?!?!

                                           KEI

              [leaning in, scowling]  Listening to a woman talking in her
              sleep is the worst!

                                         CARSON

              Will you stop being so insensible!  It's not as if I asked to
              listen to it.  I'm warning you...There is not a single person
              who has fallen in love with me or satisfied you!

                                           KEI

              [backs off a bit, looking thoughtful as if she remembered her
              dream]  Wh-wh-what do you mean?

                                         CARSON

              It means exactly what I said.  I'm saying a woman like you is
              the worst!!

                                           KEI

              [boiling mad]  WHAT!?  Try saying that once more...!

                                         CARSON

              I'll say it as many time as you want!  But first, where do
              you think we are now?

	Just as he says this, the chamber shakes, and the floor opens up like venetian
blinds to reveal a giant fan beneath their feet.  Then, two metal irises open above their
heads, and the fans starts up.  Kei begins to float upwards, but Carson grabs her hand to
hold her down.  Finally, the force of the wind is too much as they are both lifted off the
ground into separate ducts.  They hang onto each other's hands for dear life, but the
force is too great.  Their hands separate, and each is sucked into a long tube.  Computer
read outs scroll down the screen, scanning each of Carson and Kei's head and hands.  The
Professor stares intently as the development of the foot is displayed.

                                        PROFESSOR

              Sadinga!  A sudden artificial mutation!  Perfect biosamples!
              And Project...EDEN!

	Cut to Bruno on top of a staircase swinging a big mallet against a giant gong.  As
the gong reverberates, the entire lab complex comes to life.  Clusters of lights on every
building begin to flicker and throw off energy like spotlights.  Clusters of cables begin
to pulse as energy flows through them to dormant machinery scattered outside beneath the
security grid.  Latches release and hydraulic pistons groan under their own weight as they
shift.  The entire complex shudders.  Yuri is thrown to the floor as columns break through
the rock floor outside.  Slowly, the entire complex rises up through the mist...past the
security grid.  The Professor gives a satisfied cackle and poses as the force of his pose
detaches all of the cables from his body.  Meanwhile, Yuri is running frantically as parts
of the inner complex where she's trying to escape are transforming -walls folding and
unfolding, pistons narrowly missing her- until she is finally caught by a piece of wall
that drops away as she leans against it.  The complex continues to rise; black spires
silhouetted against a blood-red moon.

	Inside the Lovely Angel, Mugi falls to the floor in his sleep, yawns, and slowly
wakes up.  As he focus on the display screen, he recognizes that what is happening at the
crater is not a good thing.  He frantically punches keys on the control deck as the
display flickers.
	NOTE:  Some of the flickers show scenes from Crusher Joe where the Dirty Pair made
their first appearance.  Other scene are of the Pair in their Yasuhiko forms.  They don't
look like they came from the Crusher Joe movie.  They look kind of new.  Another flicker
is of some blond woman, Gundam article, children sketchbook, a motorcycle racer, and some
hiragana. -Anthony , et. al.
	Finally, the Lovely Angel blasts off.  We see two pairs of hands cuffed, and as
the Professor's manipulator pull away, we see Kei and Carson captured and unconscious. 
Their torso's are in some sort of glowing "vest" that is taking a sample of their DNA.  A
digital image of them appears on a screen as well as the meaning for the acronym E.D.E.N.

                                        PROFESSOR

              Environmental Displacement by Evolutional Necessity*. 
              Project EDEN!

  	*NOTE:  The Professor says this line a second time but translates it to Japanese
from English (the first time). -Ray & Masaki
	The torso enclosures stop glowing, and a small door opens on the side of each
where a robot arm holds out the genetic samples for retrieval by the Professor's
manipulator capsule.

                                        PROFESSOR

              This is it!!!  This is what I wanted!

                                           KEI

              [wakes up along with Carson]  What the hell do you think
              you're doing?!?

                                        PROFESSOR

              [stunned]  You-you can talk?

                                           KEI

              [angry]  Of course!  Idiot!!!  Get us down from here!

                                        PROFESSOR

              [laughing]  I see...I guess I should not be surprised that
              you Sadingas are capable of processing information from
              another species to that degree...Hahaha!  I've won!!!

                                           KEI

              Guess there's no point...He's completely off the deep end. 
              [struggles with her bonds and then gives up with a sigh] 
              Yuri!!  Where are you?  What in the world are you doing?

                                          YURI

              [stumbling in the dark with the Sadinga skeleton still on
              her]  Kei?  Where are you?  What in the world are you doing?

	The door to the lab opens, and Bruno enters pushing a small cart.  The Professor
turns around to face him.

                                        PROFESSOR

              Bruno!  Have you prepared it?

                                          BRUNO

              Yes Professor.  [taking the bottle in his hand]  Here it
              is...the masterpiece of wine, "General de Gaulle."

	At this, Carson quickly turns his head with his mouth open as he has a flashback. 
The scene is an alley off of a busy street.  Police sirens are blaring everywhere.  A
man's silhouette is seen running across the rooftops and drops down into the alley.  It's
Carson, who has a bottle of wine wrapped in a cloth.  Looking back with contempt for the
police, he runs down to the alley thinking he has escaped only to run into a paralyzer
stick.  A man grabs the bottle from Carson as he falls, and the last thing Carson sees
before blacking out is the bottle being handed to man with fiber-optic jacks in the back
of his hands.  The scene returns to the lab and the present.

                                           KEI

              [to Carson]  What?? Are you out of your mind!?  When you
              bragged about having one thing to do that was worth risking
              your life, you were talking about that wine??

                                         CARSON

              It no normal wine.  In 1945, 196 years ago, France -which had
              just been freed from the grip of the Nazi Third Reich- had
              this masterpiece of wines bottled in celebration of their
              victory...Chateau Lafittes "General de Gaulle."

                                           KEI

              "General de Gaulle?"

                                         CARSON

              Because only the very best hand-picked grapes were used, only
              ten bottles were made.  This one is the last of them

                                           KEI

              So, how much is it worth?

                                         CARSON

              50 to 60 million credits.

                                           KEI

              [shocked]  60 million credits!?!?!?!?

                                         CARSON

              It's not a question of price..."General de Gaulle" is
              supposed to give those who possess it fortune and glory as
              the wine of victory.

                                           KEI

              [absorbing the discussion]  I see...The wine of fortune and
              glory...

                                         CARSON

              [anger building at the thought]  I saw...I investigated...I
              searched.  As wide as the universe is, there aren't that many
              people with fiber-optic jacks in the backs of their hands!!

	The Professor laughs as Bruno holds up the wine

                                          BRUNO

              Congratulations, Professor.

                                        PROFESSOR

              12116 hours and 3 minutes!  NO progress without observation
              and interpretation!  No new discoveries without
              experimentation!  [grabs the bottle and checks it's label] 
              Science has always been criticized by ignorance masquerading
              as common sense...All research which is not comprehensible,
              no matter what manner of truth it may contain, is always
              attacked and impeded.  [embracing the bottle]  However, to
              intervene and control evolution is a fundamental goal of
              biology!  For so long, biology has pursued the dream of
              breaking the barrier between species to crossbreed and freely
              produce mutations.  [pressing the bottle to his face]  In the
              evolutionary history of life, the human race does not play
              the role of some weak life form influenced by the aimless
              wanderings of natural selection.  It plays the role of a
              dominant species able to choose its own successor! 
              [emphasizing his tone, he turns around]  Are monkeys and dogs
              able to do this?  Were the dinosaurs or three-leaved bugs
              able to do this?  We hold the one and only chance of bringing
              natural selection to an end and witnessing the birth of a
              civilization of artificially evolved organisms that will
              become the supreme rulers of the universe!  [his voice start
              to echo as he fantasizes himself floating in space in a space
              suit while still holding the wine]  The universe already
              requires a strong successor who will not be swayed by nature,
              environment, or diet!  [posing with the wine, echo stops] 
              The purpose of species manipulation is not to improve the
              human race, who drags its tail in the face of natural
              selection, but it is to bring forth the next "X" which will
              come after man!!

	A silent pause as Carson and Kei look at each, both thinking that the Professor is
completely crazy.

                                        PROFESSOR  

              [breathing out a long held breath]  I'm exhausted.
 
	Bruno begins to applaud his master's speech.  Suddenly, "General de Gaulle" comes
flying at him from off-camera, and he bobbles and juggles the bottle before finally
gaining possession of it.

                                        PROFESSOR

              Fool!  What if you dropped it??  Besides, wine should not be
              treated so roughly; go study up on it some more!

	The Professor jumps back into the manipulator capsule, and his fingers fly over
the controls.  Doors to storage chambers open, and hundreds of Sadinga eggs spill out onto
the floor.  Yuri just happens to be in one of those chambers.  She falls out half-buried
in one of the many piles.  She peeks out to see that Kei and Carson are suspended in some
sort of glass enclosed geodesic sphere at the top of a tall, wide pedestal.  From the top
of the pedestal itself, just beneath Kei and Carson, a frequency generator "eye" rises up
out of the floor and turns into position.  The Professor snaps the genetic samples into
the mechanism in his console.

                                        PROFESSOR

              Before I revive all the Sadingas on this planet, I will
              preform one last experiment to see if this synthetic genetic
              information is truly suitable or not.

	The laser aims straight for Yuri.  The Professor plunges down at his controls, and
the genetic samples flare to life.  The projector cackles, and Yuri turns to try to
scramble deeper into the pile of ore, but is too late as the "eye" fires.  The beam
strikes Yuri right on her behind causing her to fly straight up into the air, screaming
all the way.  Both Kei and Carson gasp as they recognize that Yuri has "found" them.  Yuri
falls back to the floor, landing on her seat.  A moment later, she jumps up and runs
around in circles holding her toasted fanny and wailing in pain.  She suddenly turns to
face the Professor with murder in her eyes.  The Professor cannot see normally.  All he
can see is computer models.  The Professor looks hard at Yuri then adjusts the fiber-optic
jack in his temple.  The computer model that the Professor sees is an intermediate form
between the old Sadinga monsters and the "new" forms of Kei and Carson.  The scan pans up
Yuri's form and fades to a real image of her.  The Professor is thrilled!

                                        PROFESSOR

              Ooooo!  Beautiful!  It's the dawn of a new era!

	NOTE: The beginning of this track sounds a lot like the opening of A-Ha's "The Sun
Always Shines on TV." - Ray & Masaki
	Overhead, on the Lovely Angel, bomb-bay doors open in the belly, releasing Mugi's
own Pettan attack craft with a personalized Mugi caricature on the side as it makes its
haphazardly way down to the surface.  In its cargo is replacement uniforms and weapons for
the girls.  The Pettan's auto-pilot scanners lock onto the location of Kei and Carson.  As
the Pettan homes in on the two, it swoops low along the terrain then up along the side of
the complex to smash in through a window startling everybody.  The retros fire as the
Pettan slows to land on one side of the pedestal.  As the Pettan's charges detonate, teh
explosion shatter the geodesic dome sending Kei and Carson flying.  A split second later,
the Pettan disgorges it's replacement equipment.  The explosion has left the projector
"eye" badly damaged.  It starts to hang over to one side of the pedestal shooting beams in
all directions.  Every last one of the Sadinga eggs in the room is irradiated, and the
"eye" cannot be shut off!  They all look in horror, while Mugi looks out of the Lovely
Angel's cockpit as the ship swoops away, as the eggsstart to pulsate.
	Kei grabs a bazooka, and Yuri looks on as the Sadinga eggs begin their
metamorphosis.  The Professor looks on, laughing at the fact that his "children" are
coming to life.  The monsters have a massive bust line and two tentacles extending from
their backs.  They have no head but do have three red lenses like the Martians in War of
the Worlds at the base of where the neck would be.  The beam projector finally stops. 
Yuri runs over to join Kei, who has her pants on  her head, and Carson.  All the monster
are just standing there waiting.  Yuri looks up to see the cables holding up the beam
"eye" finally snap, and the eye comes crashing to the floor.  Suddenly, the monsters
attack from all sides.  The lenses separate to form a large mouth.  Yuri leaps for her
machine gun as Kei levels her bazooka at the oncoming wave.  Kei fires two rounds at the
monsters.  Two creature jump and land on either side of Yuri, Kei, Carson, and the pile of
weapons.  When the creatures land, they break through the floor causing a section of the
floor between them to fall down.  When they all fall through the floor to the floor below,
scores of Sadinga monsters jam into the hole trying to get at our heroes.
	Three monsters come after Bruno, baring knife blades that are folded into their
forearms like genetically engineered switchblades.   He nonchalantly places the battle of
wine in a pocket in his jacket and pulls out the paralyzer stick.  The stick extends
itself then charges up.  Bruno comes at the monsters and slashes each one in turn.  All
three of the monster's torsos burst open as they fall to the floor.  Bruno leaps for the
manipulator arm as the Professor leaves.  Another monster leaps for the capsule, but is
cut in half by Bruno.  As the two halves of the monster hit the floor, the camera pans
over to the squirming pile of Sadingas as they are blown away by a massive blast.  What's
left of the monsters splatter across the floor.  Back at the hole, yellow and white blurs
each dart  straight up and out.  Yuri and Kei, back in uniform and outfitted in
S.S.I.I.V.A. (Squad Support Independant Intercept Volleying Arms) gear, ease off their
ascent and perform mid-air forward somersaults to land on their feet.  Yuri sweeps her
machine gun horizontally, mowing down an advancing line of Sadingas.  Kei responds in kind
with a single bazooka shell that sends several more monsters flying.
	Back at the hole, Carson leaps out dressed in a WWWA jumpsuit with a combat knife
clenched between his teeth.  Out of the corner of his eye, Carson notices the escape of
Bruno and the Professor.  Taking the knife into his hand, he charges for the manipulator
arm, killing all the monster that get in his way.  He makes a leap for the arm and catches
it.  Bruno looks back and scowls as Carson walk up the arm.
	More monster advance.  Yuri leaps into a back-flip and lands to fire microkiller
missiles from the pods at her hips.  Kei does likewise.  Dozens of microkiller missiles
streak from the pods to their targets.  Each one taking out at least one monster.  The
destruction goes a bit further, though, as some of the missiles hit structural supports,
weakening the lab complex's structural integrity.  The manipulator arm reaches the iris
and pushes the control globe into the tube.  Just as the iris is about to close, Carson
leaps off of the arm and into the tunnel behind the portal.  Yuri and Kei are still
spraying fire into the attacking creatures.  Kei is grabbed from behind by one of the
Sadingas.  Suddenly, two back-firing cannons extend from pod at her shoulder blades and
blows away the creature.  Kei pushes the carcass away and fires her bazooka into another
group.  Coming through the ensuing flames, more monster come charging after the girls. 
The destruction starts to show externally as an explosion rips through one of the towers.
	Carson, running down the length of the travel tube, falls forward from the shock
wave of the blast, but he picks himself up and continues running.  Somewhere nearby, a
pair of sinister eyes is waiting for Carson in the shadows.  Carson continues to run down
the tube as a paralyzer stick is extended and charged.  Carson finally makes it to the end
of the tunnel only to have to jump back as Bruno lunges for him with the stick.  Bruno
misses and cuts the railing on the catwalk that both are standing on.  Carson bares his
knife and uses his skill against the superior weapon of Bruno.  Dodging and blocking
Carson finally gains the upper hand.  Carson jumps at Bruno who tries to block with his
stick.  As blade and stick meet, the scene fades out with the splattering of blood.
	Meanwhile, Yuri and Kei have made their way to the iris door.  Yuri cuts down
several monsters as they are jumping up while Kei uses the S.S.I.I.V.A.'s back -fire laser
to spray the sadingas to the right.  Then they start down the tube.  Kei looks down and
blows a raspberry down at the creatures but hurriedly follows Yuri as a pack of monsters
jam into the entrance.  When the doorway is jammed packed, the monsters are blasted away
by one blast of Kei's bazooka.
	Bruno and Carson are facing each other with clothes shredded ,waiting for the next
move.  Carson feints, and Bruno attacks.  Both are heading for each other in mid-air, and
as blade and stick connect, Carson leaps slightly over Bruno and kicks Bruno in the head
as he passes.  Carson uses this advantage to slash under Bruno's arm, slicing open Bruno's
jacket, and sending the "General de Gaulle" tumbling into the air.  Carson smiles and
leaps for the bottle.  Bruno smiles too, knowing that Carson has made a fatal error.  As
Carson's hand closes on the bottle, all sound stops as the paralyzer stick is rammed
through Carson's abdomen and out the back.  Carson's face distorts from pain as blood
gushes out from his mouth.  Yuri and Kei make it to the end of the tunnel just in time to
witness Carson hanging in mid-air run completely through by Bruno who is holding the
paralyzer stick aloft as though waving a flag.  In this case, the flag is Carson; knife in
one hand, "General de Gaulle" in the other, and bleeding profusely from the wound.  Kei is
so shocked that she can't even let out a scream - only a pained gasp.
	The previous battle is taking its toll on the complex as a chain reaction of
explosions rips through all the buildings.  Carson slowly falls to the catwalk floor with
the paralyzer stick popping out as he hits the floor.  Bruno runs through a blast door at
the far end of the catwalk.  The explosions are tearing up more and more of the complex,
taking more monsters with it.  Carson is propped up against the catwalk railing.  The
paralyzer stick's tip smokes as Carson's blood boils off of it.  Carson is breathing
heavily and coughing as Yuri and Kei look on.  Yuri stands up and backs away to give Kei
and Carson a little bit of privacy.  Kei has retrieved "General de Gaulle," glances over
at Yuri, then, timidly, holds it out for Carson to take.  Carson looks up at Kei, who is
smiling a wan smile to cover up her pain at his condition.  Carson looks startled; then,
looks down at the bottle in Kei's trembling hand.  He reaches out and grasps it in his own
blood-splattered hand.

                                         CARSON

              [coughing]  It wasn't for the 60 million credits...[coughing
              again]...It wasn't for the promise of fame and glory
              either...

                                           KEI

              [turning her head away from him, eyes shut tight to keep the
              tears from flowing]  I know...

                                         CARSON

              It's a bad memory...So that he doesn't screw up, a pro
              doesn't get involved.  I knew that...got involved...and
              screwed up.

                                           KEI

              [looking back at him]  You were bitter about being robbed of
              what you had stolen, right?

                                         CARSON

              [leaning back]  That's it...[coughs]...that's it exactly...As
              long as the shame of "General de Gaulle" existed, I was no
              better than a petty thief...

                                           KEI

              [leans in slightly]  But you recovered it!

                                         CARSON

              In this condition...think about it...I missed becoming a pro
              once more...

                                           KEI

              [trying to reassure Carson]  That's not true...you're a pro! 
              You're a professional thief!

                                         CARSON

              You're just trying to cheer me up...[coughs]...but the truth
              is, I'm just a petty thief longing to become a pro.

                                           KEI

              Carson...

                                         CARSON

              [taking the bottle from Kei's hand]  This petty thief's final
              job has ended...[Kei looks at him, eyes welling with tears
              that she tries to hold back.  He struggles to his feet]  Now,
              it's your turn.

	The Sadinga monsters are coming down the tube.  Yuri, alert to this, holds her gun
at the ready.  Kei perks up also, ready for the onslaught.

                                         CARSON

              Give me that hedgehog-like support system...I'll hold'em off
              here.  [Yuri and Kei look stunned]   Hurry up!!!  [with a
              smile and a wink]  It hurts!

                                           KEI

              I thought we agreed not to interfere with each other...

                                         CARSON

              I'm weak from the loss of blood...can't remember a thing...

	In another part of the complex, Bruno runs up a curved staircase as the
Professor's hands play across a control panel.  Bruno smiles as a gigantic machine, shaped
like a human brain, rises up out of the floor.  The Professor is at the controls, cackling
madly.  He still has the two capsules of genetic material from Kei and Carson.  Levers are
pulled, and the round domes outside open up like flowers.  Tall towers rise up out of the
domes.  The pitch and insanity of the Professor's laughter builds at the same rate as the
whine of the machinery.  Explosions continue everywhere.  Yuri and Kei run for the blast
door.  Kei is now armed only with the paralyzer stick which Bruno had discarded.  She runs
hard, trying to hold back the tears.  When they near the door, she stops to look back.

                                           KEI

              Carson...[sniffing back the tears]

	Kei turns away again and continues to run toward the blast door.  The Sadinga
monsters are running down the tube.  Carson laboriously steps into the mouth of the tube,
and the creatures freeze, looking at him.  He is wearing Kei's SSIIVA equipment with the
bazooka in one hand and "General de Gaulle" in the other.  He pulls the cork from the
bottle with his teeth, spits it out, and drinks deeply from the bottle.

                                         CARSON

              Good wine...a good woman...for a petty thief, I was pretty
              lucky...

	His hand tightens on the bottle, and the monsters attack.  From the end of the
tube, he fires a round of microkillers which sail down the length of the tube to detonate
within the mass of monsters.  The sound of the massive blast makes Kei look back.
	NOTE:  The next 3 minutes or so, for the duration of "Over the Top," is done
entirely in slow motion. -Ray & Masaki
	As the flash from the explosion subsides, the only things coming out of the tube
are smoke and monsters that survived Carson's heroic efforts.  Yuri activates the portable
Durno-type shell launchers on the shoulders of her SSIIVA.  As the launch rails extend and
lock into place, two magazines of four shells each are brought in-line with the rails. 
Yuri kneels down on one knee as she programs the targeting computer to fire at the blast
door.  Bracing herself, she launches the eight shells with their delayed-action motors
activating after they clear the launch rails.
	Meanwhile, Kei is holding off the monsters with the paralyzer stick slicing one in
half as the shells penetrate the blast door and explode.  Yuri hits the quick release on
her SSIIVA, jettisoning it but keeping her gun as she and Kei both leap through the smoke
and flames.  Both Bruno and the Professor notice the explosions so the Professor starts to
activate bio-arms knocking Bruno over in the process.  Yuri and Kei notice that the arms
are coming for them, but they don't seem to notice.  Each of them is caught by an arm and
lifted into the air much to the delight of Bruno.  Bruno's expression changes as the
joints on one of the claws explode from being shot out from the inside by Yuri's gun
allowing Yuri to kick herself out.  The other claw has its joints cut by Kei with Bruno's
paralyzer stick.  Kei lands free and faces the Professor.  Bruno starts to run after her,
but is forced to "dance" by Yuri's precise machine-gun fire at his feet.  One of the
previously damaged claws goes after Kei, but she just cuts it aside.  Surprised, the
Professor tries again with the other arm.  This time, Kei jumps into the air, does a
somersault, and brings her entire weight to bear on the arm, splitting it lengthwise.  The
force of her leap takes her all the way to the protective bubble of the Professor.  As her
weight touches the shell, the shell shatters sending glass everywhere.  The Professor is
thrown back.  With glass splinters still falling, Kei starts to cut the cables connecting
the Professor with the controls.  Each sweep forces the Professor to evade in order to
avoid being cut himself.  Finally, the Professor is dangling helplessly by his own cables. 
Bruno tries to get up, but one look from Yuri makes him sit back down.  Yuri then turns
towards what is happening in the control room and looks on.  Kei is positively wild-eyed. 
The man responsible for Carson's death is dangling helplessly before her pleading for
mercy.  She shuts her eyes tightly fighting an inner battle of emotions.  Bruno and Yuri
look on as Kei comes to a decision.  As Kei raises the stick a bit higher, her eyes open
wide then narrow into a deadly frown.  The stick arcs down towards the Professor as he
gasps.  The stick comes straight down like a spear and makes contact.  Blood splatters and
purple fabric is rent as the Professor screams in anguish.  Electrical discharges crackle
as the Professor's hand tenses into a claw.  The Professor's scream fades away.
	The music changes to a solitary cello playing a sad instrumental.  Outside the
complex, buildings are exploding everywhere.  The remaining monster are being kill by the
explosions and falling debris.  The high-intensity security grid runs wild, sending bolts
flying everywhere.  The main part of the complex is slowly collapsing back into the
crater.  Something is moving through a thick layer of smoke as the complex continues to
sink, and the screen turns red.
	Pulling back, the red becomes the red hair of Kei.  She is standing on a ridge in
front of the air truck looking back at the damage.  Her hair is flowing in the wind as she
looks back at the paralyzer stick which is still glowing but buried point-down next to the
control console.  Kei's eyes tremble slightly as she surveys the wreckage in silence. 
Yuri is standing in the air truck looking at Kei.  Smoldering rubble and flying ash are
everywhere as Kei looks down ready to cry.  Off in the distant smoke, something is
stumbling towards them falling every few steps.  Kei squints a little to get a better
focus.  When the figure steps out of the smoke, Kei's eyes widen, and she begins to smile. 
Two feet step out of the smoke as smoldering ash falls down, and Kei's expression really
brightens.  "General de Gaulle" is being held in a lone hand.  As the camera pans up,
Carson, weakened but alive, is still wearing what remains of Kei's S.S.I.I.V.A.  His head
isbowed; as he slowly lifts it, he sees Kei and smiles.  Kei finally lets a few happy
tears fall as she rushes straight toward Carson with a big smile.
	The air truck's engines fire as it rapidly lifts off the rubble strewn ground. 
Tied up on the floor of the truck is Bruno and the Professor.  Kei is sitting down with
Carson, now bandaged and swigging down the last of the wine.

                                         CARSON

              With this, your job is finally finished.

                                           KEI

              My job isn't finished, yet...[smiling and holding up a pair
              of cuffs]

                                         CARSON

              [smiling]  You can't keep a man with those.

	Kei puts down the cuffs and looks almost saddened as she closes her eyes. 
Instantly, she opens them, looks at Carson, and smiles slightly.

                                           KEI

              You really don't think so?

                                        PROFESSOR

              [tied up but still raving]  It is the beginning!  It is the
              beginning!  It is the beginning of the new human race!

                                          YURI

              [driving, looks back at the Professor and sighs]  Lunatic!  I
              can't keep up with him...[winks and giggles]

	As the air truck passes over the twin towers and what's left of the lab, the now
empty "General de Gaulle" plummets toward the ground like a bomb, shattering on the handle
of the paralyzer stick.  The stick leans to one side and falls right on top of the control
panel which still has the two vials of genetic material in place.  The falling stick
activates the machine as the capsules glow.  A burst of energy issues forth from the top
of the two pylons sending an energy wave towards other strategically located pylons over
the face of the entire planet.  Throughout the subsurface layers of the planet, Sadinga
eggs come to life.  The monsters rip their way up to the surface of the planet where they
terrorize the citizens of Edia and the guards of Uldas, alike.  In Edia's Chief Manager's
quarters, we find the Chief Manager and the secretary doing the "wild thing."  They are
interrupted by the emergence of several Sadingas.  Back in the conference room, another
group of monsters are tearing up the room.  On the communication screen, the Chairman of
Uldas is screaming into the screen while Sadingas are destroying the scene behind him.

                                        CHAIRMAN

              [screaming]  It's Edia!! It's their destructive work!!

	As he screams, the screen is sliced in two by the arm-blade of a monster and
explodes.  The blast becomes the exhaust of the Lovely Angel as it pulls away from the
planet.  The camera pans back to the planet to reveal explosions and arcs of energy
destroying the planet.  The Lovely Angel banks left into deep space with a slow zoom-out
to view the star-field.  As the ship disappears into the distance, we hear echoed
voices...

                                        PROFESSOR

              [still raving]  AHAHAHahahaha!!!  It's the dawn of the new
              human race!  It's the Garden of Eden!  Bruno!!  Next...the
              universe!!!

                                          BRUNO

              [sounding very tired]  Again, Professor??
	
	Ending:  The Dirty Pair eye-catch appears on the screen and fades.  A champagne
glass fades in and is filled with bubbling champagne. with the strains of "Pas de Deux"
playing.  The glass splits into two glass that go to each side of the screen.  A red
cherry is dropped into each glass.  The left one turns into Kei while the right turns into
Yuri.  Both are taking a languid soak in a bubbly.  A glass ballroom slipper appears in
the middle of the screen.  As the last of the credits roll by, the slipper and the girls
fade out.  The two glasses of champagne come together in a toast and converge back into
one as it turns into the "Y" in "Dirty Pair."  The logo flashes into existence with the
ending beat of "Pas de Deux" and moves down to the bottom right hand corner with most of
the "a" and all of the "ir" off the side of the screen.

	"I think a little history is in order.  In October `87 I received from Vaunda
Perry of Wyvern Web Graphics a copy of a translation of the Dirty Pair Movie Script,
apparently the version from the April `87 issue of Animedia.  This original translation
made its way from Japan, and its original author is unknown at this time.  As I expected,
the translation was rather literal, BUT it gave me a far better head-start than I would
ever have on my own with my non-existent knowledge of Japanese (which I hope to someday
correct!).  Vaunda, I think you've created a monster here!  At this point, Masaki Takai
offered to help me with a more `Americanized' translation of the dialogue.  Believe me,
colloquial Japanese is a LOT different from colloquial English!
	"Anyway, whether showing me 100% errors in the dialogue, or telling me whether or
not my OWN interpretations are accurate.  Masaki, you've been more help than you know!  I
also note that the original version of this script has been circulated in some areas like
Usenet with several re-drafts.  Jeff Okamoto was most kind in revising the text format
several times, but unfortunately, when he first received the script, it was WITHOUT the
description of the original source, and he was never made aware that several sections were
later confirmed to be in error.

	"I'm rewriting the Dirty Pair: Project Eden script because I feel that the other
two versions are good, but could stand some reworking.  Henry's script seems to me to be
more correct in some points, but Ray's and Masaki's script uses better English
equivalents.  I have tried to combine the best of both of them in this one script.   In
English this piece of work would be considered completely plagiarized, but I can't help
it.  The only thing that I'm doing is rewriting the sentences that seem awkward.  By
comparing how the literal translation is and a more "American" version, I hope to arrive
at a sentence that is a correct translation and pleasing to the ears of English speaker at
the same time.  Hopefully Henry, Ray, Masaki, and Jeff won't mind me tampering with their
scripts.  I'll try to get feed back from Jeff Okamoto because he's the only one that I can

	"I think that the version given out by Wyvern Web Graphics was originally
translated by Henry Jerng.  I believe this because I know of Henry's ability with Japanese
and his knowledge in Biochemisty/Genetics.  Only a geneticist (which someday I hope to be)
could have deciphered all that technical jargon in the Professor's speech. I have tried to
simplify the rambling's of Professor Wattsman from Henry's version which is technically
more accurate.  If Ray or Masaki are biochemists, geneticist, organic chemist, etc.  Gomen

Dirty Pair Cinema Book and try to translate it myself.  Hopefully, I can get a clue to

	"I'm having a confusing time about the evolution of the Sadingas.  In Ray's and
Masaki's script, they say that the Sadingas themselves are changing their DNA.  In Henry's
script, he implies that the Professor is doing the changing.  To me, it seems that the
Professor is doing the changing by bombarding the Sadinga (eggs?) with different
frequencies of radiation in order to induce a favorable mutation.  Aargh!  If only I knew
someone who was fluent in Japanese with lots of time to spare...
	I think that the Professor should speak in more formal tones.  Therefore, I'm

baby into my brother's computer.  I guess you can call this a `labor of love' since Ray's
script is so good.  I just wanted to do something.  Too bad no one on the nets can see
this version unless they have access to a Mac and MS-Word 4.0.  Having the LD and a player
to play it on really helps.  Since I'm working on a 1-meg Mac SE with no hard drive, I
hope I have enough memory to put scans into the credits and title.  Hopefully, I can put
the character's picture with the voice actor/actress's picture next to the character's
